Is it only associated with Science Fiction or is there a kernel of a real
possibility in it?
Maybe it just belongs to the category of “Belief it or Not” after all there is no scientific proof of its existence but then again it cannot be disproved with absolute certainty – a little bit like religion isn’t.
For now let us presume that the possibility of an Alternative Reality or Universe does exist and lets explore what it could mean.
Every decision we make, every action we take has a consequence and a reaction.
Just imagine what would have happened if you would have made different choices in whatever life is throwing at you.
Decisions like to go to a different job interview, leave a party early, go to another one or change your holiday plans at the last moment and I am sure that you can fill in hundreds of occasions where you had to decide what to do, how to do it and where, sometime even subconsciously. As simple and unimportant as some of those choices might sound, never mind how trivial the occasions, your decision has a great impact on your future life.
How often have you congratulated yourself on a decision you made and how often have you thought – if only I had done THAT or done it DIFFERENTLY or gone THERE - what if ….
Now just imagine that every time you decide on something, there is a “split” and the path not taken is still out there in an Alternative Reality, is alive in an Alternative Universe. In other words “what if” can be alive and well and think what lessons could be learned if we would be able to access the Alternative.
You dream don’t you?
Are all dreams really just random or are some a glimpses into an Alternative Reality, into a Life with a different “split”. Do dreams that feel so real even after you wake up have some footing in your everyday life or are they a “show and tell” from an Alternative Universe.
Déjà Vu
the feeling of already seen that, already done that, had that experience already, have been in that place before, even if you have no conscious recall, might just be a small tear in the thin fabric between our Reality and the Alternative One.
Maybe our choices are not even ours at all but made by the collective energy of the Universe and “split” into numerous Realities.
I like to think that my decisions are mine and mine alone but that the road not taken will live on in an Alternative Reality and that we might find a way one day to tap into it. After all there are many things between heaven and earth that are still a mystery to the human mind and not every lesson has been learned yet.
