Trusting God…

What is trusting God really?

Guest Author Zach - Tulsa OK

A lot of times we find ourselves in a situation or a rough patch in life such as…… Financial issues, sickness, depression, addictive behaviors, or maybe a loved one is sick. A lot of times when we are in these situations all you hear people saying is “Just trust God man, he’ll get you through it,” but a lot of times we don’t fully understand what that means. It doesn’t mean, “Okay I’m just gonna sit here and wait till God takes my situation away.”

God is here to be your director, your guidance. Can a movie be made properly without a director? Absolutely not, you must first allow God to be in control of the situation you are in. Allow Him to work. Once you realize that God is your director, trust that He leads you in the right direction, He already knows the outcome of the situation, He already has something great set out just for YOUR life. He just wants you to be obedient to Him, with ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT IN YOUR HEART. This is something that you cannot be lukewarm about, you are either all in or not at all. No doubt in your heart that God is in control of the situation.

The devil may try and slip a few lies of scary thoughts through your mind to try and confuse you and make you doubt your trust in God’s ability. Continue to reflect on Gods word. Philippians 4:13 it says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Meaning, as long as you have God, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. The word impossible says within itself, I’M POSSIBLE.

No matter what your situation is, whether it’s healing of your body or mind, God has already healed you, all you have to do is accept that blessing and cling to it and speak it day in and day out.

I’m not sure how many times I say this but it’s not enough, “It’s a verbal action,” SPEAK THE NAME OF JESUS OUT LOUD and let the mountains of your life be cast in the sea.

No matter what you are going through, no matter what you’ve done in your life, no matter where you are from or what language you speak, i want you to know that God loves you very much, and the only thing that matters to me is that you accept that.
